Fundraising Opportunities In order to keep program costs from rising, fundraising is a vital component to SAK. Fundraising accounts for 51% of our operating income. View Income/Expense pie chart (pdf) Fundraising Policy Each SAK family (regardless of the number of children enrolled in SAK) will be required to raise $100 in net income from fundraising activities. Many of you exceeded this amount last year, but half of the SAK families do not participate in our fundraising efforts on any level. If you choose not to participate in fundraising, you can meet your requirement via a cash donation. Tuition Reduction One half of any net income raised over the minimum fundraising requirement can be used toward SAK tuition. For example, if you raise $600 in net income from retail certificates, your annual tuition payment is reduced by $250! There are several opportunities available for students and parents to meet our fundraising goals.
